Action for Iraq, Blockade of Parliament. 10 years to the day that US/UK air forces began bombing Iraq ( 16 / 01 / 01 ).

Approx 200 protesters including various speakers, the Rhythms of Resistance, Samba Band and The W.O.M.B.L.E.S (White Overalls Movement Building Libertarian Effective Struggle), stopped traffic around Parliament Square for nearly an hour before being penned in by a large number of Police for an hour. Approx 12 arrests. 1st action by the W.O.M.B.L.E.S., caught police off guard. Call for more involvement in the group.
